Wet & Dry Vacuum Truck Services
Different types of vacuum trucks are necessary to deal with wet or dry waste or both. Jet Blast offers vacuum truck services that cover the full range of both wet and dry debris. Their trucks are designed to do a large job well: their power ranges up to 6,000 C.F.M. with up to 27” of mercury and a tank capacity of 17 cubic yards. Fully-opening rear doors and fully-tilting dump bodies make offloading easy. Applications include tanks, sewers, pits, and sumps.
Materials We Clean
With all that power and efficiency, Jet Blast’s vacuum trucks can suck up just about any type of industrial or municipal waste. To be more specific, here is a brief but not exhaustive list of the included materials we clean up:
- Asphalt
- Bricks
- Black Beauty
- Dirt
- Digester Sludge
- Fly Ash
- Grains
- Gravel
- Mud
- Ore
- Resins
- Sand
- Silt
- Slag
- Sludge
- Tar
Some of the liquid wastes we vacuum include the following:
- Acids
- Caustics
- Liquors
- Oils
- Solvents
- Water
Filtration
Liquid waste goes through a filtration system set up in the body of the vacuum truck. In Jet Blast Inc.’s trucks, the liquid waste goes through an initial cyclonic ring, through the 17 cubic foot debris body to a series of mini cyclonic rings, and then into a bag house, where a fine mesh inlet strainer weeds out the finest particles down to one micron. Every Jet Blast vacuum truck comes with a multi-filtration system for an environmentally safe disposal process.
3 Types of Containment
Where does the liquid or dry waste go next? One has three options.
- Augur offloading puts the waste into multiple super sacks, containers, or other vessels
- Power drumming channels the waste hundreds of yards away into 55-gallon drums
- Pneumatic offloading pumps the waste far away into silos or containers of your choice
